Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CompleteBPT, ABN 81 063 937 873 ("the Platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About CompleteBPT

CompleteBPT is an AI-assisted study platform for RACP Basic Physician Training (BPT) candidates preparing for the Divisional Written Examination (DWE) and Divisional Clinical Examination (DCE). It provides flashcards, multiple-choice questions, summaries of landmark clinical trials, short and long clinical case guides, physical examination checklists, an AI study companion ("Sage") for explanations, case discussion and presentation marking, and community features in the question bank: anonymised cohort statistics, a weekly leaderboard and the ability to challenge a colleague.

CompleteBPT is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or any other examining or professional body. All content has been independently created and does not represent the official views, standards or materials of the RACP.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. The Platform is intended for medical professionals and trainees. We reserve the right to refuse access at our discretion.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are for one person. You must not share your account, and you must not create more than one account — including to obtain additional free access, Sage allowance or referral credit. Doing so is a breach of these Terms and may result in every related account being closed without refund.
• Your account may be signed in on up to five devices at once. Signing in on a further device signs out the least recently used one.
• You must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Access, the Free Period and Payments

The Free Period

• From 6 October 2026 until 28 February 2027 (the "Free Period"), every account has full access to the Platform at no charge. No payment details are required.
• We may extend the Free Period. We will not shorten it for accounts that already hold it.
• Accounts that bought access before the Free Period keep the access they purchased, as shown in the app. Some such accounts have been granted ongoing access in recognition of that purchase.
• When the Free Period ends, full access requires a paid plan. Cardiology content and a fixed Sage allowance remain available to every account free of charge.

Paid plans

• Access is bought as a single payment for a fixed period (3, 6 or 12 months). There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• When a plan ends you may buy another to continue.
• Refunds are considered case by case. Contact support within 7 days of purchase if you believe a refund is warranted.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice. A price change does not affect an access period you have already paid for.

Referrals

• Each account has a referral link. When a colleague creates an account using your link, one month is added to your access period, applied after whatever access you already hold, up to twelve referral months in total.
• Referral months have no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded, and are not counted as a purchase.
• Credit obtained through self-referral, duplicate or fabricated accounts, or any other misuse may be reversed, and the accounts involved closed.
• We may change or end the referral programme on reasonable notice. Months already credited are kept.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense any content from the Platform
• Copy, scrape or systematically extract Platform content by any means
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose other than your own exam preparation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or access the underlying systems of the Platform
• Manipulate the leaderboard, cohort statistics or referral programme, including by automated answering or by using more than one account
• Send challenge or referral links to people who have not agreed to receive them
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive or unlawful content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Platform in any way that breaks applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including flashcards, questions and explanations, case guides, physical examination checklists, software, design and branding — is owned by or licensed to CompleteBPT and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.

Content you create (personal notes, custom flashcards) remains yours. By storing it on the Platform you grant us a limited licence to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service.

7. AI Features (Sage)

Sage is an AI study companion available on flashcards, questions and clinical cases. It explains concepts, discusses cases and marks spoken case presentations. For presentation marking, your recording is transcribed and assessed when you submit it; the audio is not kept. All AI-generated responses, feedback and scores are for educational use only and are not a formal assessment. See the Medical Disclaimer.

Usage: Sage runs on a paid AI model, so every account has a daily allowance of Sage queries (currently 30 a day, shared across explanations, case chats and presentation marking, resetting at midnight Sydney time). Accounts without full access have a fixed allowance instead. The current figures are shown in the app and on the Support page; we may adjust them with reasonable notice.

8. Community Features

• Cohort statistics. Your answers to questions contribute to aggregate figures — the share of trainees choosing each option and a difficulty rating. These are published only as percentages, only once at least ten people have answered a question, and never in a way that identifies anyone.
• Leaderboard. The weekly leaderboard counts questions answered and never shows scores or accuracy. You appear under a pseudonym unless you choose to show your display name, and you can hide yourself entirely in Settings.
• Challenges. When you challenge a colleague, your result on that set of questions is shown to them and theirs to you. Nobody else sees it.

9. Privacy and Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy law, as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes your name and email, your study activity (including your answers to questions, which feed the anonymised cohort statistics above), content you create, and referral and leaderboard settings. We do not sell your personal data. Data is held on Google Cloud infrastructure. By using the Platform you consent to this processing.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee any outcome from its use, including exam success.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompleteBPT and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for access in the three months before the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or close your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or misuse, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. On termination your access ends immediately. You may delete your account from Settings at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes by email or by notice within the Platform. Continued use after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Your use of CompleteBPT is also subject to our Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
