These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CompleteBPT ("the Platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About CompleteBPT

CompleteBPT is an AI-assisted study platform designed to help RACP Basic Physician Training (BPT) candidates prepare for the Divisional Written Exam (DWE) and Divisional Clinical Exam (DCE). The Platform provides flashcards, multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short and long clinical case guides, physical examination checklists, and an AI-powered study companion ("Sage") for concept clarification, MCQ discussion, and presentation feedback.

CompleteBPT is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or any other examining or professional body. All content has been independently created and does not represent the official views, standards, or materials of the RACP.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. The Platform is intended for use by medical professionals and trainees. We reserve the right to refuse access at our discretion.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with any other person. Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing subscription access is a breach of these Terms and may result in account termination without refund.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Access to premium content requires a paid access plan.
• Access is purchased as a one-time payment for a fixed period (3, 6, or 12 months, as selected). There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charges.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. CompleteBPT does not store your payment card details.
• When your access period ends, you may purchase a new plan if you wish to continue using the Platform.
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support within 7 days of purchase if you believe a refund is warranted.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Pricing changes do not affect existing active access periods.
• Free trials, where offered, are limited to one per person and provide access to a subset of content (currently Cardiology). The trial does not expire. Creating multiple accounts to access multiple trials is a breach of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, redistribute, or sublicense any content from the Platform
• Copy, scrape, or systematically extract Platform content by any means
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose other than your own exam preparation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the underlying systems of the Platform
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to flashcard content, MCQ questions and explanations, case guides, physical examination checklists, software, design, and branding — is owned by or licensed to CompleteBPT and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.

User-generated content (such as personal notes and custom flashcards) remains your property. By storing content on the Platform, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content for the purpose of providing the service.

7. AI Features (Sage)

Sage is an AI study companion available across flashcards, MCQs, and clinical cases. Sage provides concept clarification, MCQ discussion, and clinical presentation scoring. When used for presentation practice, Sage processes your voice recordings by transcribing and analysing them in real time. Audio recordings are not permanently stored. All AI-generated responses and feedback are for educational purposes only and do not constitute a formal assessment. See our Medical Disclaimer for further detail.

Usage limits: Sage presentation scoring is subject to usage limits. During your free trial, you may complete up to 20 Sage presentation scores per account. Paid users may complete up to 100 Sage presentation scores per day. Text-based Sage chat (Ask Sage) has no daily limit. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time.

8. Privacy and Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Data collected includes your name, email address, study activity, and user-generated content (notes, custom flashcards). We use this data to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is stored securely using Firebase (Google) infrastructure. By using the Platform, you consent to this data processing.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from use of the Platform, including exam success.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CompleteBPT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the Platform ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by notice within the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
